HOUGHTON Mich. – The Michigan Tech men's basketball team has announced this year's Basketball Raffle Fundraiser Event will take place on October 24 at 7 p.m. hosted at the Bonfire banquet hall(408 Montezuma Ave.). Those planning to attend must RSVP by October 18.

Reverse Raffle: All tickets go into a drum and the last ticket drawn out is the winner of a large cash grand prize. Seven additional prizes will be drawn. Tickets are $100 and includes dinner. A maximum of 200 raffle tickets will be sold with a grand prize of $4000.
Proceeds will help fund a future international trip for the team. Those in attendance will get an exclusive opportunity to hear insight from 2024-25 GLIAC coach of the Year, Josh Buettner, assistant coach Zach Flener, and players, previewing all things Huskies basketball in 2025-26.

About the Team
The Huskies are coming off of a GLIAC Championship and NCAA Tournament run in 2024-25 with Coach Buettner returning for his fifth year at the helm of his alma mater as Coach Flener returns for his fourth season with the Huskies. The Black & Gold returns 14 student-athletes from a season ago including All-American guard Marcus Tomashek and All-GLIAC selections Josh Terrian and Dawson Nordgaard while welcoming in four newcomers to the 2025-26 campaign.
