Lenz earns All-GLIAC First Team and All-Defensive Team honors

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech women's basketball senior guard Isabella Lenz was tabbed to the All-GLIAC first team and All-Defensive team, the league office announced on Friday.

Lenz finishes her career for the Black & Gold as the 2021-22 GLIAC Freshman of the Year, a three-time All-GLIAC first team selection and a two-time All-Defensive team member. 

Hailing from Prescott, Wisconsin, Lenz made 20 starts in league play, logging a team and league-high 34 minutes per game, scoring the eighth-most points in the GLIAC (282) for an average of 14.1 points per game and 12th in the league with 2.8 assists per game. She recorded the best free-throw percentage in the GLIAC, going 51-of-57 from the charity stripe (89.5) and sixth in 3-point percentage, connecting on 35-of-96 from deep (36.5).

In her final season as a Husky, Lenz recorded double-figure scoring in 18 games in league play, with two games over 20 points and a career-high 25 points against Parkside on Dec. 5, 2024.

The Huskies concluded the 2024-25 season in the GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinals at Grand Valley State, playing to a 12-17 overall record and an in-league ledger of 9-11.
