Huskies ranked No. 20 this week

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech hockey team is ranked No. 20 in this week's USA Hockey/The Rink Live Men's College Hockey Poll.
 
The Huskies are 6-2-0 overall and 4-0-0 in the CCHA and host No. 17 Minnesota State this weekend at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena. Friday is Vollwerth's Family Night and Saturday is Junior Hockey Night and Skate With the Huskies after the game.
The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. Friday and 6:07 p.m. in the first of two meetings with the Mavericks this season. MSU is 8-4-2 overall and 3-2-1 in CCHA action.
 
The 30th annual USA Hockey/The Rink Live Men's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the AHCA and USA Hockey.
 

Friday, November 22nd
Michigan Tech Hockey and Vollwerth-Baroni Company are teaming up with Husky-Eats to bring you "Vollwerth's Family Night" for the Friday, November 22nd game against Minnesota State.

Saturday, November 23rd
Michigan Tech Hockey and Husky-Eats present "Junior Hockey Night" for the Saturday, November 23rd game versus the Mavericks.
 
Each youth (3-18 years old) wearing a jersey to the game will receive a coupon at the door for free popcorn from the Husky-Eats concessions in the Mac.
 
BRING YOUR SKATES! 
After Saturday's game, Skate With The Huskies will take place on the ice with a chance for kids to get photos and autographs from the hockey Huskies. Helmets are required to Skate With The Huskies and the Skate Rental Center will be open to borrow helmets if you forget yours. A friendly reminder that there won't be secure storage for skates and helmets in the arena during the game.
