Blue Line Club hosting its first lunch Oct. 11

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Blue Line Club is hosting its first luncheon of the season on Friday, October 11 at 11:45 a.m. in the 'old' Blue Line Room outside of University Images. The event is open to the public and costs $15 per person.
 
Tickets need to be purchased by Noon on Wednesday (Oct. 9) to guarantee lunch and can be purchased online, by calling the Central Ticket Office at 906-487-2073, or by visiting the ticket office in person. Payment will not be accepted after Wednesday at Noon.
 
Lunch includes assorted turkey and provolone, ham and swiss sandwiches with chips, cookie, and a drink. Michigan Tech head coach Joe Shawhan and Alaska coach Erik Largen will be on hand to talk about the non-conference series. The Huskies and the Nanooks meet at 7:07 p.m. Friday and at 6:07 p.m. Saturday in regular season opening series.
 
The Blue Line Club provides a wonderful opportunity for anyone who enjoys hockey to get to know the student-athletes and help them develop lifelong memories and a special bond with the community.
