MIDLAND, Mich. - Tatjana Rajic recorded eight of Northwood's 14 service aces to lead the Timberwolves to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-23) win over Michigan Tech in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball action Friday (Sept. 23).

"We are going to be more successful when we start playing the game on time, which we didn't do tonight," said head coach Orlando Gonzalez. "Starting the game too late doesn't help us in our effort to win."

Tech (2-9, 0-6 GLIAC) finished with an 8-4 advantage in blocks over Northwood (5-6, 3-3 GLIAC).

Sara Skoraja tallied a match-high 14 kills for the Timberwolves. Alex Schwalbe led the Huskies with a team-high six kills.

Ciara Sebelius tallied 14 of Tech's 22 assists, and Kienna Sharp finished with a team-high four blocks.

Tech will continue conference play at Lake Superior State Saturday (Sept. 24).
