HAIDAR AND HOJNACKI BOTH PLAY WELL AT LAKE STATE

Don Fowler tallied six assists with zero turnovers at LSSU. His assist-to-turnover ratio is a league-leading 2.8, which is 10th best in the nation. The 6-2 guard is looking to become the first Husky with 100 assists in a season since Jason Marcotte (118 in 2003-04). Fowler currently has 93 assists on the year.

70 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
Michigan Tech posted 78 points in a win at Lake Superior State last Saturday to improve to 11-0 when reaching the 70-point mark. Seven times in the previous nine games the Huskies failed to score 70 and were 0-7 in those contest. Tech is 1-10 when scoring 69 points or fewer.

HUSKY BITES
Tech leads the GLIAC and ranks third in the NCAA in 3-point field goal percentage at 41.8 … The Huskies win at Lake Superior State last Saturday was their first road win since Dec. 18 … Tech has four games left on its 2010-11 regular season schedule-two at home and two on the road. The four opponents are currently a combined 37-53.

CULY'S 63 TREYS MOST SINCE 2004-05
Alex Culy has buried 63-of-139 3-point attempts this season for a 45.3 percent clip-third best in the GLIAC and eighth best in the nation. The 6-2 guard's 63 made triples are the most since Jason Marcotte hit 78 in 2004-05.

SERIES HISTORY
Michigan Tech leads the all-time series with Ashland 13-7, having won three of the last four contests. The Huskies are 7-2 vs. the Eagles in games played at the SDC Gym. Tech has never faced Lake Erie in men's basketball.
