Warriors Win in Three

HOUGHTON, Mich. - Wayne State had three players record 10 or more kills in a 3-0 defeat of the Michigan Tech volleyball team Saturday (Nov. 5). Kristen Bulkiewicz tallied a match-high 16 kills for the Warriors.

WSU won the first two sets by identical scores of 25-20. The Warriors hit a match-high .289 and recorded a match-high 20 kills to win the third set 2-18.

Senior Jenna Karkos tallied a team-high 11 kills for the Huskies. Sophomore Abby DeWitt recorded 15 digs, and senior Kenzie Tonn added 10.

Junior Skylar Paffenroth finished with 27 of the team's 31 assists.

Tech will host Findlay Sunday (Nov. 6) for the final match of the season. The five seniors on the team will also be honored during the match.
