than five minutes remaining to claim a 1-0 Great Lakes
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference soccer win over Michigan Tech
Sunday (Oct. 24).
Samantha Echols dribbled down the sideline and sent a cross from
the corner to Kaysie Morand who scored the lone goal for the
Cardinals at 85:48.
Saginaw (9-6-1, 8-5-1) finished with a 22-8 advantage in shots over
Tech (7-9-0, 5-9-0) and ended with a 9-1 advantage in corner
kicks.

Hynnek each recorded a team-high three shots for the
Huskies.
MaryBeth
Spoehr finished with 12 saves for the Black and Gold.
"The women really worked hard today," said head coach Michelle
Jacob. "We matched up with Saginaw really well. We had a lot of
opportunities, but we just couldn't finish them."
Tech will close out the regular season at Northern Michigan
Saturday (Oct. 30).
