FINDLAY, Ohio - Michigan Tech junior Veronica Armstrong recorded a match-high 16 kills to lead the Huskies to a 3-0 victory in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball action Friday (Sept. 27). With the win the Huskies improve to 9-6 overall and 4-2 in the GLIAC and the Oilers fall to 7-9 and 1-5 in league play.

Tech once again controlled play at the net finishing with six blocks to Findlay's four. The Oilers did finish with an 11-7 advantage in aces.

Senior Kelsey Skoog finished with a match-high 27 assists for the Huskies and junior Kaari Nevanen finished with a team-high seven digs.

Michigan Tech will wrap-up the weekend Saturday (Sept. 30) at 6:00 p.m. against Hillsdale.
