GEARY HITTING STRIDE
Junior Sean Geary scored a career-high 17 points last Saturday (Feb. 9) at Ferris State and has tallied 49 combined points over the last four games. The 5-10 point guard has started the last nine games for the Huskies and averaged 7.1 points and a 3.2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Geary averages 4.8 points per game and 2.1 assists on the season.

LUKE COACHES 400TH GAME
Head Coach Kevin Luke, who is in his 14th season at Michigan Tech, coached his 400th career collegiate game last Saturday (Feb. 9) at Ferris State. Luke is the winningest coach in the program's history with a 259-141 all-time record (.648 percentage). The four-time Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year (1994-95, 1997-98, 2001-02, 2003-04) was the 2002-03 National Coach of the Year.

STROM NOTCHES 14TH DOUBLE DIGIT CONTEST
Senior Tim Strom tallied his 14th game with 10 points or more with 16 at Ferris State last Saturday (Feb. 9). The 6-7 forward is leading the team in scoring at 12.9 points per game. He also ranks second in rebounding (5.7 per contest) and assists (43). Strom owns 1,055 career points — good for 18th all-time at Michigan Tech. He will move into 17th with five more points.

DECADE OF SUCCESS
Michigan Tech owns one of the most successful programs in the GLIAC since Jan. 1, 2000, with a 170-81 (.677 pct) record. During the decade, the Huskies have won three GLIAC Championships, qualified for the NCAA Tournament four times and participated in the GLIAC Tournament all seven opportunities.

HISTORY VS. SAGINAW VALLEY STATE, NORTHWOOD
Michigan Tech leads Saginaw Valley State, 33-30, in the all-time series which began in 1972. The Huskies have won six straight and 16 of the last 17 meetings with the Cardinals. Tech will meet Northwood for the 50th time ever on Saturday (Feb. 16). The Huskies claim a 32-17 slate all-time against the Timberwolves including six straight wins and 15-of-17.

FEDRICK PULLS DOWN 10 REBOUNDS FOR EIGHTH TIME
Junior Fedrick Bowe recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds at Ferris State last Saturday (Feb. 9). The Freeport, Bahamas, native is leading the team in rebounding at 6.8 rebounds per game. He also ranks fourth on the team in scoring with a 6.9 average with five double-doubles under his belt this season.

BALANCED ATTACK
Seven different Huskies have tallied game-high scoring honors this season, with two more being added to the list this past weekend. Mike Szatko and Sean Geary tallied game-high honors for Tech last Thursday (Feb. 7) and Saturday (Feb. 9), respectively. Tim Strom, Robby Springborn, Kris Alpers, Fedrick Bowe and Don Fowler have also been the team leader.

HOME SWEET HOME
Michigan Tech wraps up its 2007-08 regular season with four straight home games. The Huskies are 5-3 at the SDC Gym this season and 74-20 in the decade (since start of 2000-01). Additionally, Tech is averaging 72 points per game at home this year compared to 63 points per contest on the road.

HUSKY BITES
Michigan Tech is 11-1 when leading at the half and 1-9 when trailing. The Huskies are also 8-2 in night games and 3-9 in day contests ... Tech has four games remaining on its 2007-08 schedule, with all of those coming at home ... The Huskies have played games in six different states this season (Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin).
