"This was an intense game, and I'm very happy to come out of here
with a win," said head coach John Barnes. "NMU is a much-improved
team, and we needed a solid game from our entire team. They made us
shoot from the outside, and we were able to make the open shots
today."
Tech finished 9-of-18 from 3-point range and 22-of-50 from the
field (44 percent). Northern Michigan was just 3-of-19 from long
