HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Michigan Tech volleyball team lost to No. 8 Grand Valley State, 3-0, today at the SDC Gym.

The Huskies put up a fight against the Lakers in game one but couldn't come out on top as they fell 37-35. Michigan Tech also dropped games two and three (30-22, 30-19).

Jen Jung led Tech with nine kills while Kaitlin Wiza added nine digs. Alison Greene finished the match with 22 assists while Kelsey Skoog chipped in 14.

Lauren Reber led Grand Valley with 19 kills.

Michigan Tech will return to action when it faces Lake Superior State on the road on Oct. 25.
