Michigan Tech junior middle hitter Jen Jung recorded a team-high
10 kills as the Huskies fell to #12 Ashland University, 3-0 (30-21,
30-15, 30-24), Sunday, Oct. 14, in Ashland , Ohio. The Eagles,
second in the GLIAC South, improve to 21-3 overall and 10-2 in the
GLIAC. The Huskies, sixth in the GLIAC North, fall to 6-12 overall
and 4-7 in the GLIAC.
Sophomore Alison Greene also led the Huskies with 22 assists.
Mary Kate Glowe led a trio of Eagles in double digits for kills
with 16.
Ashland finished the match with a .266 hitting percentage compared
to .099 for Michigan Tech. The Eagles also held a 73-53 advantage
in digs and a 6-1 advantage in service aces.
