Evie Wolshire begins her first season as an Assistant Women’s Basketball coach at Michigan Tech in 2026-27.
Wolshire came to Tech after two seasons as a Graduate Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
The native of Lancaster, Ohio played collegiately at NCAA Division III Wittenberg University where she got her bachelor’s in sport management. Wolshire was a team captain and helped lead the Tigers to two conference and one tournament championships. When she graduated, she held a program record for single-game assists, recording eleven against Kenyon on Jan. 6, 2024. It now ranks third.
Before SIUE, Wolshire was an intern for the Wittenberg Athletic Department. She worked on scheduling and coordinating events and activities, and worked with community relations specializing on NIL brand awareness.
