Biography

2016-17:  Has led the nation in goals against average for majority of the season … Ranks in the top 10 in save percentage and winning percentage … Installed as the Huskies' starter on October 28 against Northern Michigan, recording a shutout in his first start with 19 saves … Also had shutouts against Michigan on December 29 (23 saves) at the Great Lakes Invitational and versus Minnesota State on January 21 (22 saves) … Has stopped 25 shots four times this season with a season and career high 29 saves at NMU in a 5-1 win on October 29 … Was named the WCHA Rookie of the Month in November after leading Tech to a nation’s best six wins … Was named WCHA Defensive Player of the Week on November 28 and WCHA Rookie of the Week three times.

Prior to Michigan Tech: Played three and a half seasons with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL … Had a 90.4 save percentage and 3.05 goals against average in 41 games during the 2015-16 season with a 21-17-0 record and three shutouts … In 50 games in 2014-15, had a 2.72 goals against average and 91.0 save percentage, winning 24 games with five shutouts… Appeared in 32 games in 2013-14 with a 3.32 goals against average and 89.9 save percentage … Played nine games for the Silverbacks in 2012-13 and 19 with the Port Moody Panthers of the PIJHL.
