2010-11 Women's Basketball
Biography
Rae Drake begins his first season with the women's basketballprogram in 2010-11 after spending the previous five years as anassistant with the Michigan Tech men's basketball team. He beganhis duties in July.
Drake wasinvolved with scouting and player development with the men'sprogram. Prior to that, Drake coached Upper Peninsula high schoolboys basketball for 23 years—nine as head coach at West IronCounty where he compiled a 121-72 record, seven conferencechampionships and two district titles. He previously served 14years as an assistant coach at Iron Mountain.
Drake graduatedfrom Northern Michigan in 1980 with a degree in specialeducation.
