Program: Social Sciences

Before joining Michigan Tech, Merridy Littell skied for the Alaska Pacific University Nordic Ski Center. She competed at the national and state levels, earning three individual podium finishes and two relay victories at the ASAA State Championships. At the U.S. Junior National Championships, she placed 10th in the U18 Classic 10K in 2023, 20th in the U18 Classic 10K in 2024 and 14th in the U18 Classic 7.5K in 2025. She also finished eighth in the U18 Classic 10K at the 2024 U.S. Cross Country Ski National Championships.

Off the trails, Littell was named to the Dean’s List while earning a 4.0 GPA during the 2025–26 academic year. Her hobbies include playing guitar, reading and crocheting cute animals.

Littell chose Michigan Tech for its natural beauty and its warm atmosphere—socially, if not climatologically—which made the university feel like a home away from home.
