Biography

Junior Season (2013-14): Earned the Merv Youngs Award as team MVP … Selected as both a WCHA Scholar-Athlete and WCHA All-Academic Team member … Finished third on the team in scoring with 25 points but had a team-high 15 goals … Recorded four game-winning goals … Scored a must-have shootout goal in an eventual win vs. Michigan State in the GLI Semifinal (Dec. 27) … Had a six-game point streak with 4-4=8 between Nov. 8-23 … Had a highlight reel goal Nov. 8 vs. Michigan State.

Sophomore Season (2012-13): Named a WCHA Scholar-Athlete … Earned the team's Harold Meese Sportsmanship Award … Finished tied for fourth on the team in scoring with 24 points on 11 goals and 13 assists … Played in 33 of the team's 37 games … Was third on the team in goals … Had a career-high four points with two goals and two assists in an 8-2 rout of Northern Michigan (Feb. 12) … Collected three points (1g, 2a) in an 8-4 win over Lake Superior State (Oct. 13) … Recorded 17 of his 24 points in home games.

Freshman Season (2011-12): Recorded 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in all 39 games...Scored first career goal in a 2-1 overtime win vs. Wisconsin on Oct. 14th and recored his first career assist in 7-2 win vs. No. 3 Denver on Oct. 28th...Scored one goal in nine different games...Had all 16 of his points in his first 28 games of 2011-2012.

Prior to Michigan Tech: Spent the 2010-11 season with the Fargo Force of the USHL … Posted 13 goals and 24 assists for 37 total points in 55 games … Earned a spot on the USHL Western Conference All-Star Team … Played for the Marquette Rangers (NAHL) in 2009-10 … Tallied 32 goals and 19 assists for 51 points … Led the NAHL in goals and was named the league's rookie of the year and all-north division.
