Biography

Ken Klein begins his fifth year at Michigan Tech working withthe defensive line.

Klein played defensive tackle for Northern Michigan from 1983 to1988 and earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic ConferenceSecond Team honors. He earned a bachelor’s degree in securityadministration from NMU in 1988 and returned there to gain ateaching degree in 1994.

A Lake Linden, Mich., native, Klein served as head coach atHoughton High School 11 seasons, from 1994 to 2004. He is currentlya middle school teacher at Houghton.

Klein resides in Houghton with his wife, Lynn, and their fourchildren.
