Josh Wood begins his second season at Michigan Tech in 2012. Hewill serve as a graduate assistant for the defense.

Wood spent the 2010 season as the cornerbacks coach andassistant special teams coordinator at Adams State. The Grizzliesposted a 5-6 record and placed fifth in the Rocky Mountain AthleticConference. The ASC defense ranked second in the RMAC in totaldefense and first in pass defense efficiency.

The Manitou Springs, Colo., native graduated in 2010 with abachelor's degree in physical education from Black Hills State inSpearfish, S.D. He played football there for two seasons, tallying83 tackles and two interceptions while being named All-DakotaAthletic Conference Honorable Mention.

Wood's collegiate career began at Chadron State, and he helpedthe Eagles to a 24-2 overall record and quarterfinal appearances inthe NCAA Playoffs in both 2006 and 2007.
