David Sartin coaches Michigan Tech's offensive line. He beginshis fourth season with the Huskies in 2012.

Tech's offense finished fifth in the GLIAC in total yards andsecond in rushing yards in 2010. The Huskies have also had fourAll-GLIAC First Team selections and an All-American during Sartin'stenure.

Sartin was offensive graduate assistant at Grand Valley State theprevious three seasons, helping the Lakers to three Great LakesIntercollegiate Athletic Conference championships and three tripsto the NCAA Tournament. GVSU won the 2006 national title and weresemifinalists in 2007.

Prior to his stint in Allendale, Mich., Sartin served as defensiveline coach, defensive coordinator and assistant head coach (coachedthe Offensive Line) during five seasons at North Park University,an NCAA Division III institution located in Chicago. Before that,he worked at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, for threeseasons.

As a student-athlete, Sartin was a part of three nationalchampionships at Division III Mount Union College in Alliance,Ohio. He was a two-time letterman as an offensive tackle. He beganhis coaching career there as a student and gained his degree inphysical education and health in 1998.

Sartin, in addition to his coaching duties, is a charter memberof the Michigan Tech Athletic Department Social Committee.
