Bryan Parker

Bryan Parker enters his second year with the Michigan Tech football program and his first as the team's Wide Receivers Coach. Parker spent the 2021-22 football season on the defensive side of the ball as Michigan Tech's Outside Linebackers Coach. Tech’s record breaking defense dominated opponents all year long and produced several All-Conference players. Parker brings both Wide Receiver playing and coaching experience to Tech’s offense.

Parker came to Tech after coaching Running Backs and Tight Ends at Briar Cliff University (NAIA). Prior to Briar Cliff, Parker coached Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs, and coordinated special teams at Elkhorn Area High School in Wisconsin.

Parker began his collegiate playing career at the College of DuPage (JUCO) in Chicago, Ill. (2017, 2018) where he played his first two seasons. He went on to play Wide Receiver his next two years at Indiana University in the Big Ten. In his time with the Hoosiers, Indiana had two of the most successful seasons in program history going 8-5 in 2019 with a Taxslayer Gator Bowl appearance, and 6-2 in 2020 with an Outback Bowl appearance.

Parker is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Sports Administration through Arkansas State University. He received his Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from Indiana University in December of 2020.

Originally from Walworth, Wisconsin, Parker now resides in Houghton. Parker's father, Doug Parker, was a long time head high school football coach who had great success in Southeastern Wisconsin.
