Teri Salani was a dominant force in alpine skiing for the
Huskies from 1974-77.
During her career, she finished among the nation's top 25 in
both the slalom and giant slalom.
Salani was named the team's most valuable skier twice during her
career (1975 and 1977) and also earned All-Central Intercollegiate
Ski Association honors in both 1975 and 1977.
Additionally, she was the school's first-ever recipient of the
Raymond L. Smith Award as MTU's top senior female
student-athlete.
