Peter Grant

Peter Grant, who lettered in hockey from 1966-68, is one of the
greatest supporters of the Michigan Tech hockey program in its
85-year history. He served as the chairman of the Hockey
Educational Center Campaign, which saw the construction of a new
support facility for hockey to its completion in 1999. That
building was named the Peter J. Grant Hockey Educational Center in
his honor.
Peter is also a member of the Hockey Advisory Council and a
major donor to the on-going Hockey Enrichment Campaign. In
addition, Grant has been a major donor to MTU’s Civil and
Environmental Engineering Departments. He earned the MTU Board of
Control Silver Medal in 2000.
Grant is the CEO, chairman and owner of Grant Forest Products,
Inc. He resides in New Liskeard, Ontario.
