Pete Hoffman, who played basketball for the Huskies from
1988-93, is the fifth-leading scorer in school history. He earned
the Ken Hamar Award as the team’s most valuable player three
times and was an All-America honorable mention as a junior.
Hoffman once held the school records for career three-point
field goals made (251) and attempted (592). He still holds the
records for most field goals attempted in a game (29) and most free
throws made in a game (18). The three-time All-Great Lakes
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection finished his career
with 1,866 points and 504 rebounds in 104 games.
A native of Midland, Mich., Hoffman resides in Denmark where he
coaches a professional basketball team.
