Mike Foltz

Mike Foltz had an extraordinary four-year career in football for
the Huskies from 1969-73. He played his first game as a defensive
tackle and the remainder of his career as an inside linebacker.
Foltz helped Michigan Tech to three Northern Intercollegiate
Conference titles (1969, 1970, 1972) and an overall record of 29-7
during his time in a Huskies uniform.
He was a two-time All-NIC First Team selection (1970, 1972) and
also earned the Fred Baird Memorial Award as the team's outstanding
defensive player as both a sophomore and senior.
Foltz finished his career with 350 total tackles which today
ranks him third on MTU's all-time chart.
