Lloyd L. Seestedt

Finishing his undergraduate work in 1927, Lloyd Seestedt was a
three-sport student-athlete at Michigan Tech. He lettered three
years in football, three years in basketball, and one year in track
while in a Huskies uniform.
In 1926, he served as captain of the MTU football team and in
1928 he was captain of MTU's first-ever track team. He also
participated for three seasons on the MTU basketball team.
Seestedt was also a leader in the campus community. He served as
advertising and circulation manager of the Lode in both 1926 and
1927 and was also a regent of Theta Tau Fraternity in 1927.
Following his days at MTU, Seestedt has continued his support of
the University through donations to the Huskies Club and the Alumni
Association. He is also a member of the Presidents Club.
