John O. Sanregret

A supporter of Michigan Tech athletics for more than 30 years,
John O. Sanregret has been a mainstay around the football field,
basketball gym, and hockey rink at MTU since 1963.
Sanregret's support of MTU athletics is far reaching. He was the
public address announcer at MTU football games for 13 seasons
(1963-1975) and served in a similar capacity at MTU basketball
games for 27 years (1963-1990).
He has been a member of The Huskies Club for the past 32 years
and served on that organization's Board of Directors for 20 years
(1968-1988), including 10 years as president.
Sanregret earned an Honorary Varsity Letter in 1972 and in 1974
received an Honorary Blanket Award. He gained the prestigious Ken
Hamar Award as The Huskies Club Booster of the Year in 1979.
