The only women's basketball player ever to be named Most
Valuable Player four straight years, Jodi Peters (Maley) was a
force on the hardwood for the Huskies from 1979-83.
She earned the Terry Wilson Award as the school's Outstanding
Freshman Female Athlete her rookie season and then gained the
Raymond L. Smith Award as MTU's Outstanding Senior Female Athlete
her final campaign.
In addition, Maley led the team in scoring as a sophomore
(1980-81) and served as team co-captain her senior season while
picking up All-GLIAC Honorable Mention honors.
