Gary K. Milroy

Gary Milroy garnered 56 goals and 69 assists for 125 points
during his three-year career (1964-67) at MTU and in the process
helped the Huskies to a NCAA title and two Western Collegiate
Hockey Association crowns.
He earned WCHA Sophomore of the Year honors his first season in
1964-65 while leading MTU to its second NCAA title. Milroy, who
helped the team to a 24-5-2 record that year, was also named the
MVP of the NCAA Tournament.
Milroy also helped the Huskies to the WCHA title in 1965-66 and
as a senior in 1966-67, earned First Team All-American honors in
leading the team to a third-place league finish.
Named the team's Most Valuable Player in both 1964-65 and
1966-67, Milroy also served as the Huskies' captain during his
final campaign with the team.
