The driving force in establishing The Huskies Club Endowment
Fund, Dr. Michael Agin was an ardent supporter of Michigan Tech
athletics during his 21 years in the Copper Country.
A longtime member of The Huskies Club, Agin served for 10 years
(1978-88) on The Huskies Club Board of Directors, including stints
as both Vice President and President of the Club. He was also a
member of the Michigan Tech Athltic Council from 1977-83. Agin was
a major force in the establishment of the original guidelines and
procedures for selecting inductees into the Michigan Tech Hall of
Fame and also in the revision the The Huskies Club Constitution and
By-Laws. He also assisted in the planning of the Huskies Day,
Winter Carnival parties and other similar programs.
