Dr. Kenneth E.
Rowe

Dr. Kenneth E. Rowe, class of 1952, is being named to the MTU
Sports Hall of Fame as a builder.
His support of the Huskies athletic programs began during his
undergraduate days as a member of the pep band and continues today
in his capacity as a member of the MTU Board of Control.
His 40-plus years of support for the MTU athletic programs
include volunteer work as the Huskies team physician, assisting at
various fund-raising events, and of course, being in the stands to
cheer MTU athletic teams to victory.
Rowe, who is retiring as medical director of both the Western
U.P. District Health Department and the Dickinson-Iron District
Health Department, served as a volunteer team physician for 12
years.
