HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech track & field squads have a busy weekend to start the season, with a contingency traveling to the WashU Distance Carnival on Thursday and Friday in St. Louis, Missouri, while another group will be competing at the St. Norbert Early Bird Meet on Saturday in De Pere, Wisconsin.

Complete action of the opening weekend can be found at Michigantechhuskies.com/live.

Veteran Claire Endres will be the lone competitor on Thursday, taking on the women's 3,000m steeplechase as the night cap of day one at the WashU Distance Carnival.

Sawyer Fowler and Ingrid Halverson will be in the morning section of the 10,000m on Friday with Michael Dennis in the fourth section of the 10,000m to end the night and meet at host of the third Olympiad.

Between 10,000m sections, the Huskies will see 13 student-athletes take on the 5,000m highlighted by Colman Lenci competing in the eighth section of the day.

Saturday's St. Norbert Early Bird meet will showcase four Huskies in the 5,000m, six in the 3,000m steeplechase, ten in the 1,500m and five in the 800m.
