Skiers travel to Duluth for NCAA Regionals

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Nordic ski teams are traveling to Duluth, Minnesota for the 2026 NCAA Central Regional Championships. The Huskies will race classic on Friday and skate on Saturday.

The event is the final NCAA qualifier and is hosted by the College of St. Scholastica at the Spirit Mountain Nordic Center. Tech will be looking to defend its women's title from a season ago.

Friday's 7.5K individual start classic begins with the women's race at 10 a.m. Central, followed by the men's race at noon. Both races will be three 2.5K laps. Saturday is a 20K mass start skate race with eight laps of 2.5K. The men get underway at 10 a.m., followed by the women at noon.

Due to a lack of snow in Bozeman, Montana, the 2026 NCAA Championships have been moved to Soldier Hollow, Utah. A selection show for the participants will be held on March 4 at noon, and the championships will be held on March 12 and 14.
