Huskies ranked #19 this week

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech hockey team is ranked No. 19 in this week's USCHO.com Top 20 Poll and USA Hockey Poll. It's the first time Tech is ranked in the polls this season.
 
The USA Hockey Poll had the Huskies at No. 20 on November 18, 2024. Tech was last ranked in the final USCHO poll of the 2023-24 season, checking in at No. 19 on April 15, 2024.
 
The Huskies have won five in a row and are 16-8-2 overall and 11-3-2 in the CCHA after a weekend sweep of No. 17 Minnesota State. The Mavericks are No. 20 this week. Other CCHA teams in the poll are No. 14 Augustana and No. 16 St. Thomas.
 
Tech plays rival Northern Michigan this week for the second time this season. The Huskies and Wildcats meet at 7:07 p.m. on Friday at the Berry Events Center and 6:07 p.m. on Saturday at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena.
 
Limited seats are still available for Saturday and general admission tickets are also on sale.
 
The USCHO.com Division I Men's Ice Hockey Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 50 voters, including coaches and media professionals from across the country. Media outlets may republish this poll as long as USCHO.com is credited.
 
The 31st annual USA Hockey Men's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the AHCA and USA Hockey
