GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Michigan Tech men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches in its final downstate road trip of the regular season. The Huskies fell 6-1 at Davenport on Friday and 7-0 at No. 14 Grand Valley State on Saturday.
On Friday against the Panthers in Caledonia, the Huskies took the doubles point.
Leon Sell and
Ian Pinnoo teamed up in the No. 2 position for a 6-0 victory.
Laurent Teysseire and
Sarth Bansode were victorious 6-2 in No. 3 doubles. In singles,
Adam Fenjiro (No. 2),
Leon Sell (No. 3), and
Sarth Bansode (No. 6) all pushed their opponents to three sets.
Against the Lakers on Saturday in Allendale,
Landon Coates and
Vitor Jordao won 6-4 in their No. 1 doubles match.
The Huskies wrap up the regular season at Lake Superior State on Friday in the Soo.
