HANOVER, New Hampshire – The Michigan Tech Nordic ski team is in New Hampshire this week for the NCAA Skiing Championships. The Huskies will race classic on Thursday and skate on Saturday at Oak Hill Outdoor Center.
Tech will be represented at the NCAA Championship with a full women's team consisting of
Greta Hansen,
Bridget Burns,
Marie Sølverud Wangen as well as alternate
Alice McKnight.
Colin Freed,
Tryg Solberg, and alternate
Wes Campbell will compete for the Huskies in the men's races.
Colin Freed and
Tryg Solberg return with NCAA experience.
There was an opening ceremony on Tuesday and the downhill events started Wednesday. The 7.5K individual start classic begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday with the women's race followed by the men's competition at noon. Saturday's 20K mass start skate begins with the men at 10 a.m. followed by the women at noon.
