Stiven Sardarian and
Owen Bartoszkiewicz have been named CCHA Players of the Week the conference announced on Monday.
Stiven Sardarian is the CCHA Forward of the Week after registering a nation-leading four assists in the series sweep of Ferris State. The senior forward tallied a pair of assists each night, with three primary helpers in the two-game set. Sardarian leads the Huskies with nine points—all on assists. He leads the CCHA in assists and ranks fourth in the nation.
Owen Bartoszkiewicz is the CCHA Goaltender of the Week after a pair of wins over the Bulldogs. The junior stopped 57-of-60 shots with a 1.50 goals-against average and .950 save percentage. He made 29 saves Friday and stopped 28 shots on Saturday. For the season, Bartoszkiewicz is 4-1-0 with a 2.41 goals-against average and .909 save percentage.
The Huskies are 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the CCHA and travel to New York this weekend for non-conference games at Clarkson on Friday and St. Lawrence on Saturday. The puck drops at 7 p.m. each night.
