HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech men's basketball has announced this year's Basketball Raffle Fundraiser Event will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 7-9 p.m. at Bonfire Steakhouse in Houghton (408 Montezuma Ave.) banquet hall. Those planning to attend must RSVP by October 18.

Reverse Raffle: All tickets go into a drum and the last ticket drawn out is the winner of a large cash grand prize. Seven additional prizes will be drawn. Tickets are $100 and includes dinner. A maximum of 200 raffle tickets will be sold with a grand prize of $4000.
Proceeds will help fund a future international trip for the team. Those in attendance will get an exclusive opportunity to hear insight from Head Coach Josh Buettner, assistant coach Zach Flener, and players, previewing all things Huskies basketball in 2024-25.

About the Team
Head coach Josh Buettner returns for his fourth at the helm of the program while Zach Flener is back for his third season with the Huskies. Michigan Tech returns 15 from the 2023-24 team that went 11-17 overall and 8-10 in league play. Marcus Tomashek, a D2CCA All-Region second team and All-GLIAC first teamer returns for his junior season after finishing sixth nationally in points per game (22.9) along with All-GLIAC Defensive team member Josh Terrian. The Black & Gold added newcomers Ty Fernholz, Layne Risdon and Grant Warren for the 2024-25 campaign.
