HOUGHTON, Mich. – Highlighted by 15 games inside the SDC Gymnasium, head coach Sam Clayton is pleased to announce the 2024-25 schedule. The 29-game slate starts in November and runs through the beginning of March before the start of postseason play.

Nonconference

For the second-straight year, the Huskies will open the season in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin for the JustAGame Crossover, facing GLVC affiliate Lewis–an NCAA Tournament team a season ago (Nov. 8) and GMAC affiliate Thomas More (Nov. 9). The Huskies then enjoy a weekend at the SDC Gymnasium, welcoming NSIC foes Bemidji State (Nov. 15) and Minnesota Crookston (Nov. 16). MTU then travels to the North Star State for tilts at St. Cloud State (Nov. 23) and Minnesota Duluth (Nov. 24) before closing out the NSIC portion at home against Concordia-St. Paul (Nov. 30) and Winona State (Dec. 1). Tech's final nonconference game is a scrimmage against Bay College at the SDC Gymnasium on Dec. 21.

GLIAC Play

The conference ledger features 20 contests with the addition of Roosevelt in its first year at the Division II level competing in the GLIAC. The Huskies open league play at home facing Parkside on Dec. 5 and Purdue Northwest Dec. 7. 

MTU starts a three-game road trip after the Holiday Break, traveling to Grand Valley (Jan. 2), Davenport (Jan 4) and Northern Michigan (Jan. 9). The Huskies then have a three-game homestand welcoming Roosevelt (Jan. 11), Saginaw Valley State (Jan. 16) and Wayne State (Jan. 18). 

Two of the next three weeks of competition for the Huskies take place on the road facing Lake Superior State (Jan. 23) and Ferris State (Jan. 25). MTU hosts Davenport (Jan .30) and Grand Valley State (Feb. 1) before facing Wayne State (Feb. 6) and Saginaw Valley State (Feb. 8) for the second time in the regular season.

The Black & Gold close out the regular season home slate with three-straight home games starting on Feb. 13 vs. Ferris State and Feb. 15 welcoming Lake Superior State before hosting Northern Michigan on Feb. 20.

Michigan Tech concludes the regular season on a three-game road trip at Roosevelt (Feb. 22), Purdue Northwest (Feb. 27) and Parkside (Mar. 1).

Michigan Tech finished the 2023-24 season with an overall record of 15-12 and 11-7 in GLIAC play and returns First Team All-GLIAC player Isabella Lenz and eight players from a season ago.
