HOUGHTON, Mich. - Michigan Tech senior forward Eric Kattelus has been dismissed from the hockey team for a violation of team rules. He had one goal and seven assists in nine games this season and 6-26--32 in 87 career games.

"It is unfortunate that we had to dismiss Eric from the team," said athletic director Suzanne Sanregret. "We have high standards for our student-athletes, and we expect them to live up to the high standards that have been set."

Michigan Tech will host Minnesota Friday (Nov. 19) at 7:07 p.m.
