Bulldogs Beat Huskies 5-3

DULUTH, Minn. - No. 2 Minnesota Duluth rallied from a two goal deficit to defeat Michigan Tech 5-3 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association action Friday (Nov. 12). Duluth improved to 8-1-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the WCHA, and Tech fell to 3-3-2 overall and 1-3-1 in the league.

"Duluth is a talented team with good speed," said head coach Jamie Russell. "I was happy to see us get out to a 2-0 lead. These are tough buildings to play in. We need to step up when we get a lead and not get back on our heels."

Minnesota Duluth, who entered the game ranked seventh in the nation in scoring offense with 3.9 goals per game, scored the next five goals.
