HOUGHTON, Mich. -- Michigan Tech freshman goaltender Rob Nolan

saves, but No. 3 Wisconsin bested the Huskies 5-0 in Western
Collegiate Hockey Association action Friday night at the John
MacInnes Student Ice Arena.

WCHA) with a goal with a man advantage in the final second of the
first period.
The UW added two goals in the second frame, as Davis Drewiske
struck at the 7:22 mark and Joe Pavelski tallied a power-play
marker at 16:39.
Ben Street added the fourth goal of the contest for the visitors
just under 2:00 into the third stanza, while Drewiske tacked on his
second tally of the evening at the 10:19 mark of the period.
Shane Connelly recorded 20 saves to earn his fifth win in net for
the Badgers.
Michigan Tech (7-20-5, 6-13-4 WCHA) finished with 20 shots in the
game.
The two teams meet again tomorrow night in the concluding game of
the two-game series. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:07 p.m.
Notes: Nolan's 59-save effort was the highest total by a Tech
goaltender since Dec. 29, 2005, when Michael-Lee Teslak made 57

Detroit, Mich. Six seniors -- Nick Anderson, Chris Conner, Taggart
Desmet, Pekka Saittakari, Brandon Schwartz and John Scott -- will
be recognized after Saturday's contest for Senior Night.
