    USCHO | After starting the first five games of the 2019-20 season, Jurusik looked shaky at best. After sitting out the next four games, where the Huskies went 1-3 with consecutive losses to North Dakota and Minnesota State, Jurusik returned to the Huskies’ goal on Nov. 15 and has played in all 10 games since.

    Eric Gotz, Matt Jurusik, and Logan Pietila from the Michigan Tech hockey team have been named WCHA Players of the Month. All three played all six games for the Huskies in December and were honored on the GLI All-Tournament Team.

    Michigan Tech won the 55th annual Great Lakes Invitational Tuesday (Dec. 31) with a 4-2 victory over the University of Michigan at Little Caesars Arena. Logan Pietila had a hat trick and Matt Jurusik made 35 saves as the Huskies won the MacInnes Cup for the first time since 2012 in the final game of the decade.
