Coach
Tom Monahan Smith:
"Our greatest competitive strength as a team is our ability to truly enjoy the competitive environment as a team! We show this every competition through the support we give to one-another, waving our team flags and cheering for all teammates in every race, blasting the hype music at the venue, and celebrating every achievement as a team! Our number one competitive goal for U.S. Champs is to deliver our "Championship Team Environment" as we know if we bring enjoyment as a team to the competition environment and overall team environment we will truly love competing and produce our best races!
"We've relentlessly practiced our process for performance preparation and success, from our pre-race routines, to our competition race strategy, to how we reflect/learn/and grow from every race. How we practice this competitive process will be no different for US Champs as we know executing our complete competition process is what will prepare and allow us to have the best possible competitive performance.
"Our goal is to have a top five placing in the U.S. Nationals Collegiate Cup. We also would like to come home with a CCSA combined, women's and men's team titles which will be scored in the first three races."
