Baltus and Hanna Join Huskies Hockey Squad April 24, 2013 The Michigan Tech hockey team has signed two more players to National Letters of Intent to join the Huskies’ program. Brent Baltus (Nanaimo, B.C.) and Shane Hanna (Salmon Arm, B.C.) will join four other student-athletes who will begin their careers this fall. Hockey Hands Out 2012-13 Team Awards April 23, 2013 Sophomore forward Blake Pietila was named the Merv Youngs Award winner as Michigan Tech hockey’s 2012-13 most valuable player as the Huskies handed out their awards at a team meal last night. Conner Playing with the NHL's Coyotes April 10, 2013 Former Michigan Tech hockey player Chris Conner (Westland, Mich.) has played three games with the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes after being called up last Wednesday (April 3) from their AHL affiliate Portland Pirates. Conner, who played at Tech from 2002-06, is with his fourth different NHL team since joining the professional ranks in 2006. [read more]

Nielsen Signs Try-Out Deal with Syracuse (AHL) March 25, 2013 Huskies defenseman and team captain finished his collegiate career last weekend with 20 total points in 140 games. [read more]
