    Head Coach Matt Jennings and the Michigan Tech volleyball program are pleased to announce the 2018 schedule. This year's calendar will feature two preseason tournaments which include a trip to Anchorage, Alaska for the Alaska Tournament and the NMU Wildcat Invite in Marquette, Mich. The Huskies lineup includes seven home matches with the first scheduled match at the SDC Friday, Sept. 14 against the Northwood Timberwolves.

Dane Birks and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins play the Charlotte Checkers, Chris Conner and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms matchup with the Providence Bruins, Tanner Kero and the Rockford IceHogs play the Chicago Wolves, and Shane Hanna, Joel L’Esperance and the Texas Stars open against Matt Roy and the Ontario Reign.

    The Michigan Tech volleyball team announced its 2017 team award recipients and its new leadership for the 2018 season. Elle Heinonen was honored as the team MVP and clinched the Digger Award. Courtney Kurkie received the Harold Meese Sportsmanship Award, Kristine Fink was named Most Improved, Stephanie Dietrich earned the Scholastic Achievement Award, and Mariah Sherman and MacAulay Petersen were appointed to 2018 team captains.
