KINRADE SIGNS CONTRACT WITH OTTAWA SENATORS
Former Michigan Tech defenseman Geoff Kinrade has signed a two-way free agent contract with
the Ottawa Senators. The exact terms of the contract were not released. Last season he made his NHL
debut with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He joins former Michigan Tech Husky Jarkko Ruutu on the Senators.

GLIAC HONORS 28 MICHIGAN TECH ATHLETES
The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2009 all-academic teams and they included 28 Michigan Tech athletes. The men's track and field team had 12 athletes selected with the women close behind with 11. The men's tennis team had all five of it's eligible players selected to the team.
